the time allowed to read the questions carefully before you hear each piece. This will help you to focus on precisely what is being tested.

the second listening to check, confirm or amend answers you gave during the first listening (remember that amending an answer in Part 2 may affect other answers).

er that incorrect spelling in Part 1 is penalized.

sure you concentrate on an in-depth understanding of what is said in Parts 2 and 3, rather than a more superficial one.

sure you have correctly transferred your answers to the answer sheet during the ten minutes allowed for this.
