首先，要順利通過考試，了解考試評分要點很重要：

1. Grammar and vocabulary?

2. Discourse management(your ability to speak about the topic in question in a logical way and for the right length of time)

BEC的評分工作由2位劍橋BEC考委認證的考官負責(zé)。其中一位考官負責(zé)向考生提問以及打總體評價分，另一位考官不與考生交流，他負責(zé)打四個分項分數(shù)。然后考生的成績是由2位考官評分的平均所得?？谠嚥糠?分就是合格。

關(guān)于考生對于自己的語音語調(diào)不標準的擔(dān)憂，Patrick表示BEC所提倡的是International English。所以只要你的語音能讓考官和你的搭檔聽懂，那么都是可以接受的，不會對分數(shù)有太大的影響。

BEC考試的三個部分，只有第一部分考生可以作一些事先的準備工作。Patrick建議考生在考試前能把自己的個人情況做一些準備，因為給考官留下良好的第一印象是很重要的。以下是BEC考試常見的一些話題和口試技巧，考生可以根據(jù)這些做準備。

Make sure before you go to the speaking test, that you can:

1. Describe what your job or your studies consist of.?

2. Talk about your ambitions/hopes for the future.?

3. Say what you like/dislike about your job/studies.?

4. When you go into the interview, speak clearly so you can be heard.?

回答問題不要使用一兩個鼓勵的單詞，而要使用完整的句子。

6. When you answer a question, give a reason for your answer or an example.?
回答問題是要給予理由或例子來作支持。
