根據(jù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)中共享資源方式的不同，局域網(wǎng)有兩種組織形式：一種是對等網(wǎng)絡(luò)，另一種是工作站/服務(wù)器結(jié)構(gòu)。對等網(wǎng)絡(luò)中的計算機之間可以互相通信和共享資源（文件、外設(shè)等）；而工作站/服務(wù)器結(jié)構(gòu)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)中可共享資源放在一臺專用計算機-服務(wù)器(server)上，工作站之間不互相直接共享資源。對等網(wǎng)絡(luò)比較靈活，適用于工作組級的小型網(wǎng)絡(luò)，當網(wǎng)絡(luò)規(guī)模較大時，其管理和安全性都變得比較困難，此時宜采用工作站/服務(wù)器結(jié)構(gòu)。這兩種結(jié)構(gòu)一般是由系統(tǒng)軟件的功能決定的。如用indows NTWorkstation就可以構(gòu)成對等網(wǎng)絡(luò)，專門的服務(wù)器則要使用Windows NT Server（或NovellNetware等）。小編覺得，如果是在學校內(nèi)部，或者其他的公司等內(nèi)部網(wǎng)絡(luò)，可能會是安全的。
