在平時的學(xué)習(xí)中，我們會覺得寫作或做題時遇見的定語從句較多，除此之外，口語中也會有大量使用定語從句的時候。不過在具體語境中有些需要注意的地方，以關(guān)系代詞而言：
1. 非書面語中，對于有著賓語作用的關(guān)系代詞往往可以省略

A.Have you waited the proper time (that)you refer to all the time?
你已經(jīng)等到了你一直提及的那個合適的時間了嗎？（that 可以省略）

B.That is not a complicated method(that) she think about.
那不是她所想的一個復(fù)雜的方法。（that可以省略）

2. 當介詞在關(guān)系代詞之前時，只能用which修飾物，whom修飾人，而不可以用that
A.This is the corridor at which a student cried yesterday.
昨天一個學(xué)生在這個走廊哭泣。（which不可用that替換）

B.Who is that boy with whom you will come in five hours later.
你將要和一個男孩在5小時后進來，那個男孩是誰呢？

3. 在一個句子中如果有兩個定語從句，其中一個用了who，另一個只能用that來指人
A.Something that a machine can do for human is relay on the worker who operate it.
機器能做為人類做的一些事取決于操作它的工作人員。

4. 注意只有that出現(xiàn)的情況
A.This is the best film I have watched.
這是我看過的最好的一部電影。

B.Can you figure out the music and their instruments that we have seen at the concert?
你能分辨出我們在音樂會上看到的演奏家和他們的樂器嗎？
