Q: 我在發(fā)音方面很苦惱，想知道如何才能改善發(fā)音？外國人都是怎樣練發(fā)音的呢？

A: The answer is that there are MANY ways to improve pronunciation. When I was growing up and learning speech and grammar, we practiced in a variety of ways. We recorded ourselves speaking and then watched and/or listened to it. This is helpful because then you can see if you are using your mouth enough! Many people don't use enough mouth muscles or open their mouths enough when they speak. We also practiced by giving speeches in front of each other and then giving each other feedback. Also, you should try watching films with the ENGLISH subtitles on, and pausing after each sentence to see if you can say it EXACTLY like the actor or actress. Imitation is one of the best ways to learn pronunciation and speech patterns.

改善發(fā)音的方法有很多哦。Alison老師說他們會把自己說話時的樣子或聲音錄下來，然后通過看畫面或者聽聲音來知曉自己的嘴型是否到位。他們還會兩個人結對，A對著B講話，然后B告訴A哪里發(fā)得不對等。另外 Alison老師還說大家要看些帶有英文字幕的原版電影，放一句暫停一下，自己嘗試著說那句話，看看跟原版本身的發(fā)音是否接近。模仿是練習發(fā)音和說話方式的最好方法之一喲！

Q: 我的聽力很差，我要如何提高聽力技能呢？

A: That's a tough question. Listening skills are just something you have to practice. Sometimes I have to listen to a Chinese phrase 20 times before I understand what it means. Listen to short clips of speech, over and over again. Do not listen to long paragrahs of speech, because you'll forget the things you don't understand. Another thing you can do is to try watching films with the ENGLISH subtitles on, and pausing after each sentence to see if you can say it EXACTLY like the actor or actress. Imitation is one of the best ways to learn pronunciation and speech patterns.

聽力技能需要不斷的練習，Alison老師說自己有時聽個中文短語要聽不下20遍才能明白它的意思。大家可以聽聽短的片段，要重復聽很多遍。不要聽那些大段大段的篇章，否則等到聽完后你早就忘了自己哪些地方?jīng)]聽懂了。Alison老師給出的第二點意見和練發(fā)音的一種方法相同，那就是模仿，看帶有英文字幕的原版電影，然后一句一句跟著說。（其實聽不懂的原因之一就是你的發(fā)音和外國人不一樣，所以你聽到他們說出的單詞時根本無法和自己所知道的詞聯(lián)系上，這就是為什么模仿外國人講話也是提高聽力的途徑。）

Q: 詞匯量要如何提升？

A: That's a difficult question because there are many different types of vocabularies, right? There's a business vocabulary, a literary vocabulary, an everyday vocabulary, and then different hobbies and activities have vocabularies, right? I recommend deciding what kind of vocabulary you want to improve (what kinds of words you want to learn) and then reading English books about those topics. Or English newspapers. Write down every word you don't know and look it up. Challenge yourself to understand every word, and keep word lists of new words that you learn so that you can review them the next day. If you only learn a word once and then move on, you'll forget it, right? Try this site for reading material online: it has short and long stories about many different topics.

這個問題比較困難了，因為詞匯有各種不同類型的嘛，比如商業(yè)類的、文學類的、日常類的，另外不同的愛好和活動都有自己相關的詞匯。Alison老師建議筒子們先想好自己需要提高哪方面的詞匯量，然后就閱讀這方面的英文書籍或者英文報紙。記下每個自己不認識的單詞查查字典，努力讓自己明白每個單詞的意思。把學會的新單詞做成單詞表，那樣第二天可以進行復習。因為如果一個單詞只學一遍，你肯定會忘記噠。Alison老師還為大家推薦了一個網(wǎng)站，里面有關于各種話題的長短故事哦~

Q: Alision老師，我的語法很差，你認為我們需要花很多時間專門學語法嗎？

A: Great question! To be completely honest, I think the best thing you can do is to practice speaking. Grammar is important for exams and for business presentations, but we learn through COMMUNICATION. And communication involves a lot of talking, not reading and memorizing. What do you think?

Alision老師認為提高語法水平的最好方式是練習口語。語法對于英語考試和商業(yè)演講很重要，不過我們可以通過溝通交流去學習掌握。而溝通所包含的是很多的談話，而非閱讀或者背誦。

Q: 我想提高書面英語該怎么做？
