pile on有堆積的意思，pile it on形容過(guò)多地談?wù)?；（尤指）夸張，言過(guò)其實(shí)。

3.?onto

△杰問(wèn)歌洛莉亞是否向校長(zhǎng)承認(rèn)了錯(cuò)誤，歌洛莉亞撒了謊，可是杰一眼就看穿了。

onto在這里 (對(duì)某人做的壞事)已經(jīng)明白了。

He knows we're onto him.
他知道我們盯上了他。

onto還有“將要發(fā)現(xiàn)、成為…的一部分、 轉(zhuǎn)向 (新的話題)”等意思。
