那為什么spoiler就是劇透的意思呢？讓我們來看一下《韋氏詞典》給出的釋義：

information about the plot of a motion picture or TV program that can spoil a viewer's sense of surprise or suspense

也就是告知了電影或電視節(jié)目的情節(jié)，破壞了觀眾的觀感。

然后，spoil也有寵愛的含義，spoil oneself“寵愛自己”就是對自己好點，spoil還可以形容溺愛孩子。
