One problem that I ran into in India was finding hand-sanitizer. Hand-sanitizer is an alternative to soap, it's a liquid, and it kills bacteria and germs without having to use water. Because I was eating everything with my hands, I wanted them to be clean! But this was usually a challenge, and sometimes led to some uncomfortable side effects… But it certainly didn't stop me! Today I still love eating with my hands - and I get to practice whenever I ordered take-away food from Indian restaurants.
