? travel
? trip
? journey
travel
Did you have a good travel?
Did you have a good journey / trip / flight?
journey
I wish you a pleasant journey.
trip
He’ll make a round-the-world trip.
Dialogue 1
B: Hi, I’m flying to Los Angles.
A: Can I see your ticket and your passport, please?
B: Sure. Here's my passport. And here's my e-ticket.
A: Thank you. Would you like a window seat?
B: No, I'd like an aisle seat please.
A: OK, and is the luggage yours?
B: These two bags are mine.
A: All right. One of your bags is overweight... I'm going to have to charge you for the excess weight.
B: I see. How much extra do I have to pay? And can I pay by credit card?
A: $30 dollars more, sir, and yes, we do accept credit cards.
? Can I see your ticket and your passport, please?
? Would you like a window seat (or an aisle seat)?
? Is the luggage yours?
? Do you have any check-in baggage / hand-baggage?
? Sure. Here's my passport. And here's my e-ticket.
? I think I will go for the / I’d like an aisle seat this time.
? These two bags are mine.
? Yes, I have one suitcase, and I am carrying my backpack into the cabin.
Dialogue 2
B: Yes, I am. And you must be Dan Ford.
A: That’s right. Pleased to meet you, Joseph.
B: Nice to meet you, Dan.
A: So, did you have a good flight, Joseph?
B: Hmm, it was delayed for half an hour, but apart from that, everything was fine.
A: Well, I suppose half an hour isn’t so bad. Do you often travel abroad on business?
B: Probably about once a month.
A: Really? Do you enjoy travelling for business?
B: Yes, although I prefer staying in the office.
A: What do you like most about travelling?
B: I like visiting new cities and trying out new food.
A: Well, here are the taxis. Let’s get in the queue.
Did you have a good flight? 我們還可以這樣說:How’s your flight? It was delayed for (half an hour), but apart from that, everything was fine.
? Do you enjoy travelling for business?
? What do you like most about travelling?
? Have you ever been here before?
? What did you think of it (the place)?
