I would like to talk about the Siping Park, which has just been built recently.

?

The park is located in the Kongjiang Area of Yangpu District, and it is about ten minutes’ walk from my apartment. So I often go there to relax myself.

?

This park is divided into many different function areas, including a small square for group dancing, a lake for boating and some tracks for jogging. The neighbour around the park is densely populated, so normally people do not have enough space for leisure activities. Now that the park is built, the residents have a really good place to take a good break from their busy city life. Some seniors go to the park very early in the morning to practice Tai Chi. In the evening, many elders would play music there and dance to the tune. During weekends, many children are accompanied by their parents to talk a walk there. I myself sometimes bring my musical instrument to practice there.

?

The park has brought a lot of benefits to us who live nearby. It is a nice place for them to enjoy the natural beauty of trees and flowers and to breathe fresh air, which is precious in the city. It also offers an easily accessible place for family members to bond with each other. And it is also a great facility for neighbours to meet each other, which strengthens the connection in this community.
