1.If someone comes out of the closet,they reveal or discuss
someting which they have previously ketp secret.You can also say that an issue comes out of the closet when it starts to be publicly discussed.

2.If someone comes out of the closet,they tell people that they are homesexual after having kept this a secret.
If you speak up,you say something,especially to defend a person or protest about something,rather than just saying nothing.Uncle Hugh nerver argued,never spoke up for himslf.

3.Throughout my professional life,I've tried to maintain a basic level of privacy.I come from humble roots,and I don't seek to draw attention to myself.Apple is already one of the most closely watched companies in the world,and I like keeping the focus on our products and the incredible things our customers achieve with them.
在我整個(gè)職業(yè)生涯中，我都盡量保護(hù)自己基本的隱私。我出身草根，不想吸引太多注意。蘋果已經(jīng)是世界上最愛密切關(guān)注的公司之一了，我想繼續(xù)把重心放在我們的產(chǎn)品和我們的顧客用這些產(chǎn)品所做的妙事上。

4.Timothy Donald "Tim" Cook (born November 1,1960)is an American budiness executive,and is the CEO of Apple Inc.
Cook joined Apple in March 1998 as Senior Vice President(SVP) of Worldwide.

5.Operations-and was Chief Operating Officer(COO) until he was named the CEO of Apple on August 24,2011,when he succeeded Steve Jobs.

6.(Cook had previously served as acting CEO of Apple after Jobs began medical leave in January 2011.)

7."At the same time,I believe deeply in the words of Dr.MartinLuther King,who said:"Life's most persistent and urgent question is,'What are you doing for others?'"I often challenge myself with that question,and I've come to realize that my desire for personal privacy has been holding me back from doing something more important.That's what has led me to today.

三、Early life and education
1.Cook was born in Mobile,Alabama,United States,and grew up in nearby Robersdale. His father,Donald,was a shipyard worker,and his mother,Geraldine,worker at a pharmacy.

2.Cook graduated from Robrtsdale High School.He earned a B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Auburn Universityin 1982,and his Master of Business Administation(MBA) from Duke University Fuqua School of Business in 1988.

3."for years,I've been open with many people about my sexual orientation.Plenty of colleagues at Apple know I'm gay,and it "doesn't seem to make a diffrence in the way they treat me.Of course,I've had the good fortune to word at a company that loves creativity and innovation and knows it can only flourish when you embrace people's diffrences.Not everyone is so lucky."
我從來沒隱瞞過性取向。蘋果的許多同事都知道我是同志。這也沒有影響他們與我相處的方式。當(dāng)然，能在一個(gè)熱愛創(chuàng)新，深知只有接納人的不同才能發(fā)展的公司工作是我的幸運(yùn)。
