親歷香港SAT考試
如前一位學(xué)生，但他利用有限的資源發(fā)揮出自己最好的水平取得了2100分。有研究表明，來自高收入家庭的學(xué)生得到的考分會(huì)更高；這使很多的美國大學(xué)都在反思過分注重標(biāo)準(zhǔn)考試成績所帶來的不良社會(huì)影響和不公平因素。 前一陣，我在瀏覽美國排名21的維克森林大學(xué)的官網(wǎng)時(shí)看到了一個(gè)很有意思的討論區(qū)。這個(gè)大學(xué)現(xiàn)在已將SAT考試設(shè)為“optional”，即可選擇考或不考，而大學(xué)更注重看高中三年的成績單。這樣的現(xiàn)象會(huì)不會(huì)在未來更普遍呢？這真實(shí)地反射出美國大學(xué)錄取的多樣性和包容性。 SAT考試 SAT考試是美國大學(xué)錄取中的一個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化測(cè)試，隸屬于非SAT盈利性機(jī)構(gòu)美國大學(xué)理事會(huì)（College Board），并由美國大學(xué)理事會(huì)出版、完善。之前由美國教育考試服務(wù)中心即ETS進(jìn)行命題、印刷和評(píng)分?，F(xiàn)在，ETS仍然承擔(dān)SAT的命題工作。SAT考試旨在考查學(xué)生的能力是否足夠適應(yīng)大學(xué)教育。SAT考試成績，或和其具有同等效力的ACT考試（American College Test）成績，在申請(qǐng)美國大部分大學(xué)時(shí)都是必須提供的。 SAT考試在每年3月、5月、6月、10月、11月和12月的第一個(gè)星期六以及1月的最后一個(gè)周六舉行。其中，每年3月的考試僅在美國舉行?？荚嚂r(shí)間是上午8點(diǎn)開始，大約到下午1點(diǎn)結(jié)束（各個(gè)考點(diǎn)休息等的情況不同，故時(shí)間有差異）。中國大陸沒有考點(diǎn)。一般來說，亞洲的香港、新加坡、澳門、臺(tái)灣、日本、韓國等地都設(shè)有考場（除每年3月），大陸考生近年來多選擇在這些地方進(jìn)行考試，每到考試季節(jié)也會(huì)有一些留學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)組織“考試團(tuán)”。由于赴考的大陸考生越來越多，去年10月1日，香港啟用了亞洲展覽館作為“萬人大考場”。
