一些人為了維護(hù)自己在同事或領(lǐng)導(dǎo)眼中的形象，用“裝忙”表現(xiàn)自己工作努力；還有一些人是“盲目地忙”，忙碌但沒有效率，這兩類人被人們稱為假忙族。他們表面上看起來很忙、實(shí)際上卻能把偷懶進(jìn)行得神不知鬼不覺的人們。

They are invariably white-collar workers. Instead of "hello", they greet each other with "are you busy lately?" Their answers always indicate they are too busy. Their desks are forever stacked with piles of documents. And they can hardly turn away from the computer screen any time of the day.
他們都是白領(lǐng)。他們見面的問候語不是“你好”而是“最近忙嗎？”而得到的回答往往都顯示他們實(shí)在太忙了。他們的辦公桌永遠(yuǎn)都堆滿了文件，他們的眼睛整天都盯著電腦屏幕，一刻都不離開。

It looks as if they are workaholics. Only that they are not. They just pretend to be. They are called the pretend-to-be-busy tribe.
看上去他們好像都是工作狂。實(shí)際上卻不是，他們只是假裝而已。他們被稱為“裝忙族”。

Oftentimes, their pile-up documents are just papers which should have been thrown into the waste basket a long time ago. The computer screen? The most common trick is to paste a novel into a work-related word document. In fact, there are many more tricks that you did not know.
通常情況下，他們桌上成堆的文件只是一些早該被扔進(jìn)廢紙簍的東西。一刻不離電腦屏幕？最常見的把戲就是把正在看的小說粘貼到一個(gè)工作文檔里。事實(shí)上，還有很多你還不知道的類似招數(shù)呢。

上文中提到的pretend-to-be-busy tribe，就是我們所說的“裝忙族”；這些年，各種“族”類層出不窮，有快閃族、月光族、蟻?zhàn)?、草莓族、麥兜族等等等等，這么多“族”，對(duì)應(yīng)的英文翻譯也有不同，比如快閃族是flash mob，月光族是moonlight clan，而蟻?zhàn)迨?a href="http://dict.hjenglish.com/w/ant tribe" class="hjdict" word="ant tribe" target="_blank">ant tribe。clan意為“宗族”，tribe意為“部落”，都可以表示各種各樣的“族”；而快閃族用mob（暴徒）一詞，則是為了夸張地表示快閃族的瘋狂和集體規(guī)模。
