Now a Scots design student has invented a revolutionary device, shaped like a goldfish bowl, that allows drinkers to enjoy a quiet chat – no matter how loud their fellow drinkers are shouting or how high the volume is on the jukebox.

The lightweight speech bubbles, which filter out noise, come in two sizes – large for couples and a smaller version for individuals.

Called Social Spheres, the device for two is stationary and has a headsized hole at either side, creating a haven of peace for the participants.
這種裝置叫做“交際球”，它是固定的，在每一邊上都有頭部大小的一個洞，能給戴上它的人一個安靜的天堂。

The individual Social Sphere is mobile and also has the holes.
為個人設(shè)計的型號同樣也有洞，但是人們可以戴上它移動。
