保羅·西蒙(Paul Simon)，1941年10月13日生于美國(guó)新澤西州的紐瓦克，音樂(lè)家、創(chuàng)作歌手、唱片監(jiān)制。他從小崇拜歌星普萊斯利，十一、二歲時(shí)開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)唱歌和彈吉它，16歲時(shí)與中學(xué)同窗好友阿特·加芬克爾(Art Garfunkel)組成男聲二重唱，開(kāi)始了早期的演唱生涯。后來(lái)進(jìn)入布魯克林法學(xué)院學(xué)習(xí)法律，1964年從法學(xué)院退學(xué)只身赴英國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)文學(xué)。
