1. 開心時(shí)的表情：

a. 有些人特別豪爽，碰到開心事會(huì)肆意地大笑，這時(shí)他們的表情和動(dòng)作可以這么來(lái)描述：throw his/her head back in a hearty laugh，表示頭往后仰，然后哈哈大笑起來(lái)。hearty 就是指“豪爽，不加掩飾”的意思。

b. 遇到很開心的事情時(shí)，我們肯定會(huì)大笑。而大笑的時(shí)候，嘴角就會(huì)朝著兩只耳朵的方向翹，所以我們有時(shí)就會(huì)說(shuō) smile/grin from ear to ear，意思是指因開心而咧著嘴笑。比如 A 說(shuō) "What about giving Mary a bike for her birthday?"（給瑪麗買輛自行車當(dāng)生日禮物如何？）B 回答道 "Good idea. She'll smile from ear to ear."（好主意，她一定會(huì)笑得合不攏嘴。）

c. 另外還有比較簡(jiǎn)單的說(shuō)法，就是 wide/big smile，指開心咧嘴的笑臉。比如：Come on, a big smile for me!（快給我開心地笑一個(gè)吧?。?。

d. toothy grin 表示咧嘴、露出牙齒的笑容，讓人感覺(jué)有點(diǎn)頑皮、可愛(ài)的笑。

e. 有時(shí)人們并沒(méi)有笑出聲，臉上的笑容也不是最明顯，但他們的 sparkling eyes（閃閃發(fā)光的眼神）可以讓我們看出他們實(shí)際上很開心。比如：Did you see the way her eyes sparkled? She's so happy.（你們看到她閃閃發(fā)亮的眼神了嗎？她肯定覺(jué)得很開心）。

2. 難過(guò)時(shí)的表情：

a. pout 表示努嘴，不滿意的表情。比如：See how she pouts, someone must be not very happy.（瞧瞧她那努嘴的樣子，有人正生氣呢）。

b. frown 表示皺著眉頭的難過(guò)表情。比如：Come on, wipe that frown from your face, nothing's that bad.（我說(shuō)吧，你就不要那么一副難過(guò)表情了，沒(méi)什么大不了的事）。

c. teary-eyed 指的是淚滿眼眶的表情。比如：She's all teary-eyed.（她眼淚盈眶）。

d. eyes downcast 指眼睛往下，一副失望、失落的表情。比如：He had his eyes downcast and was crestfallen.（他低著頭，一副特別失落的樣子）。

3. 生氣時(shí)的表情：

a. mean look in the eyes 表示眼神里充滿了憤怒，想要揍人的樣子。比如：I was frightened by the mean look in his eyes.（他眼神里充滿憤怒，讓我感到害怕）。

b. pursed lips 描述的是緊閉雙唇，看上去一副想訓(xùn)人的樣子。比如：Her lips were pursed, and she was ready to let him have it.（她的雙唇緊閉著，準(zhǔn)備好好訓(xùn)他一頓）。

c. face flushed with anger 描述的是氣得滿臉通紅的樣子。比如：His face was flushed with anger, like he's about to throw a tantrum.（他一副氣得滿臉通紅的樣子，好像馬上就要暴跳如雷了）。

4. 其他表情：

a. smirk 是指嘲弄地笑。比如：She smirked and I could tell she was happy that I had failed.（她嘲弄地笑了笑，我知道她是因?yàn)槲沂×硕械礁吲d）。

b. grimace 描述的很不喜歡某件事或是某個(gè)人的時(shí)候的表情。比如：She grimaced at the fact that he was there at the party.（她因?yàn)樗苍谂蓪?duì)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，所以皺了一下眉頭）。

c. chin up and nose high up in the air 指的是抬起下巴，鼻子高高向上，喻指一副目中無(wú)人、很不屑的表情。比如：She had her chin up and nose high up in the air, like she's the queen of the world.（她一副趾高氣昂、目中無(wú)人的樣子，就像自己是女王一樣）。
