The 45-year-old author JK Rowling told Oprah Winfrey: ‘Michael Jackson wanted to do a musical. I said “no” to a lot of things.

'For me, I love the films, I love the books and there’s elements that I love around it... like the theme park. But I only wanted to do it because I knew it would be incredible.’

During her chat with Oprah, JK also hinted that the door may not be closed on the idea of more Potter books, admitting that she cried uncontrollably when she finished final instalment Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.

在和奧普拉的聊天中，羅琳還暗示說續(xù)寫波特系列并不是不可能實現(xiàn)的空想，她承認說寫完最后一部《哈利波特與死亡圣徒》的時候自己難以控制地大哭了一場。

'I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth,' she revealed. 'I’m not going to say I won’t. I don’t think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know.'

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is set to be released in UK cinemas this November, with Part II out in July 2011.
