The woman who became the epitome of the perfect stay-at-home 1950s mom has died. Barbara Billingsley was best known as June Cleaver on the TV show "Leave It to Beaver". She was 94.

A gas blast at a Chinese mine has killed 21 workers. 16 miners are believed trapped. However, rescuers are facing dangerous gas levels and the risk of falling rocks as they worked their way into the mine pit.

A motorized paraglider ran into a hot air balloon Saturday in central Arizona, sending two of the four people onboard to the hospital. Authorities say the two aircraft became entangled. The balloon ripped open, and both fell to earth quickly.

Ten-thousand empty plates were displayed at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Saturday in an event to mark World Food Day.
