President Barack Obama is now in South Korea to attend meetings of the world’s top 20 economic powers. He arrived early this morning after spending less than a day in Indonesia where he toured the country's largest mosque and delivered a speech at the University of Indonesia.

Carnival Cruise Lines says the first of several tugboats has reached the vessel stranded off the coast of Mexico. The tugboat has started to pull the boat to San Diego, but it’s expected to be days before the Carnival Splendor reach shore. An engine room fire cut off power to the ship early Monday.

Iraqi officials say bombing have targeted Baghdad Christian neighborhoods, killing at least four people. The attacks underscore the threat to Iraq’s minority Christian community following a massacre last week that left 58 people dead. Al-Qaida militants have claimed responsibility for that attack.

Singapore Airline has pulled three of its A380 superjumbo jets from service after tests uncovered problems with the planes’ engines. Tests revealed oil stains in three engines. The planes will be flown to Singapore, where they’ll be fitted with new engines.
