其實，turnover 有兩個最基本的意思。

1. 營業(yè)額 The turnover of a company is the value of the goods or services sold during a particular period of time
.
The company had a turnover of $3.8 million.
那個公司擁有380萬美元的營業(yè)額。

2. 人員流動率 The turnover of people in an organization or place is the rate at which people leave and are replaced.

Short-term contracts increase staff turnover.
短期合同會增加員工的流動率。

turnover rate 周轉(zhuǎn)率，換手率
annual turnover 年營業(yè)額，年成交量；年總生物量
