Taking to Instagram, JLaw, who hadn't turned up to the 2018 ceremony, revealed why she wouldn't be seen stumbling out of any after parties either.

Jen revealed how the girls were supposed to be hitting up some Hollywood nightspots following the bash - but Emma pulled out at the last minute preferring instead to enjoy a cosy night in.

"What happened tonight?" Emma Stone is heard asking the Mother! actress in the video posted to Facebook.

"You had told me that you wanted me to be your date to the after parties so I got us tickets to some after parties, got a car and I was half way through glam when you told me that you didn't want to go," said Jen.

"You just wanted to come over to my place. So I sent my hair and make-up team home and now this is what I look like," she said before giggling.
“你想來(lái)我家看看，我還請(qǐng)了化妝、發(fā)型團(tuán)隊(duì)到家里，結(jié)果現(xiàn)在我成了這個(gè)樣子”。大表姐說(shuō)完笑了。

But Emma Stone was looking flawless for her moment on the red carpet after receiving a Best Actress nomination for Battle of the Sexes.
但是艾瑪·斯通不但以《性別之戰(zhàn)》獲得最佳女演員提名，在之后的紅毯表現(xiàn)也無(wú)可挑剔。
