2. cut out to be

cut out to be可以表示“天生適合做某事”，而cut out單獨的意思是（發(fā)動機、機器或設備）突然熄火，停止運轉。

飛機的一個引擎突然出了故障，所以他們只好靠一個引擎著陸。

另外，“天生適合”還可以這么說：be a?natural?for sth。
