A woman terrified of spiders called for a takeaway so the delivery driver could help get rid of one.
一名女性因害怕蜘蛛而點了外賣讓快遞師傅幫他趕走蜘蛛。

Demi Sweeney, a 22-year-old criminology student at Bournemouth University, spotted a huge spider outside her room last week.

Demi told that she woke up to an empty house at around 10am.
Demi說早上10點醒來時寢室空無一人。

She said she felt trapped in her room as the creature might drop onto her if she passed by.
她說，因為怕自己經(jīng)過的時候，蜘蛛掉到她頭上，感覺自己被困在寢室了。

As all of her housemates were away, she messaged friends and family for help. One suggested ordering food on Deliveroo and asking the delivery driver to sort the situation out.
因為她的室友都出去了，她發(fā)短信給親朋好友求助。其中一人建議她在Deliveroo預(yù)訂快餐讓快遞師傅來解救她。

Demi said she checked with Deliveroo first to see if drivers are allowed in customers' homes. They are.
Demi先在Dliveroo上確認快遞師傅可不可以進入顧客家中，證明可以。

She decided to get KFC (and accidentally ordered two meals) and added a note on her order: "I have spoken to Deliveroo customer service, please can you help to remove a spider for me".
于是她決定點肯德基（而且一不小心點了兩份）另外備注，“我和Deliveroo客服聯(lián)系過了，請幫助我把蜘蛛趕走?！?/div>

wenty minutes later, her fried chicken arrived and Demi ran downstairs to her saviour.

Unfortunately, the driver, who had seen her request, was also scared of spiders. Demi had to beg him to help.
不幸的是，這個司機看到她的備注，他自己也害怕蜘蛛，Demi只能再三央求他。

"He asked how big it was and said he would give it a go, asking where it was," she said. Demi got him loo roll and a chair to stand on as equipment.

Demi added there was a moment of panic when the spider dropped onto the floor and started running away, but it was eventually captured by the heroic driver.
Demi說有一刻她很惶恐，蜘蛛掉到了地上，開始逃跑，不過最后還是被這個英勇的送餐小哥抓住。

The driver flushed the intruder down the toilet, which left Demi too afraid to sit on it for much of the day.
快餐小哥把蜘蛛放到廁所里面沖掉，Demi那天因為害怕都沒有怎么上廁所。

"I thanked him around 50 times, he kept saying this is so funny while laughing," Demi said.
