bare, naked, bald, barren

這些形容詞都含“裸露的”之意。

: 指缺少必要的遮蓋物。用于人時，多指身體的部分裸露。

例如：The boy likes to walk on the sand with bare feet.（這男孩喜歡赤足在沙灘上走。）

: 指全身一絲不掛，暴露無遺。

例如：Naked bathing is not allowed to this beach.（這個海灘禁止裸泳。）

: 指頭上無發(fā)，山坡無樹無草，樹頂無葉。

例如：You look just like my boss , too except you ' re bald.（你看起來就像我老板,除了禿頂。）

: 著重缺少肥力或生活能力，無草無木，荒瘠不毛。

例如：The barren land could produce little food.（那貧瘠的土地幾乎不長莊稼。）
