Most of the people living in Hong Kong are Chinese. We call people from China, Chinese. This is their nationality. Many people from other countries also live in Hong Kong. Many people in Hong Kong are from the Philippines. We call people from the Philippines, Filipinos. Over one hundred and twenty thousand Filipinos live and work there. Look at this chart. What do we call people from America?

Kelly wanted a pet, so she went to the SPCA. She saw a lot of cats and dogs. Finally she chose a small dog. It was 3 months old, and it was brown and white. Kelly took her new pet home. Then she went to the market with her mother and they bought some things for their new pet. They bought a cola and a lead and a basket. At the supermarket they bought 2 bowls for water and food. They also bought some tines of puppy food a packets of biscuit and some dog's sweets. Kelly looks after her pet very well. She gives it two meals a day, in the morning and evening. She makes sure it always has some clean water in its bowl. Dogs need plenty of exercise, so Kelly takes her for a walk in the morning before she goes to school, and in the evening before she goes to bed. Her mother takes the dog for a walk at lunch time.
