葡萄牙人是宿命論者

命運在葡萄牙文化里是個重要的概念，葡萄牙人相信命運，是所謂的宿命論者。

葡萄牙的民族音樂甚至就叫做“命運”，也就是英文的?fate，在葡萄牙語里是?fado，所以我們一般翻譯成“法朵”。

這種歌曲憂傷哀婉，現(xiàn)在已經被聯(lián)合國教科文組織認定為非物質文化遺產了。

Portuguese are fatalists. Fatalism is an essential trait of Portuguese culture. One of the most obvious expressions of it is the traditional music Fado, which literally means ‘fate’. This is characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, often about the sea or the life of the poor, and infused with a characteristic sentiment of resignation, fatefulness, and melancholia. It has been recognized by the UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2011.
