　　Grow by: 增長了，注意與grow to增長到 相區(qū)別。

　　The biggest increase:最高級;increase名詞的用法，平時大家經(jīng)常用的是動詞形式，所以也積累一下名詞用法。在句型上，后半句是解釋作用。

　　2、 Emerging-market flows are surging: Chinese tourists spent 31% more in the first half of 2013 than a year earlier, according to the UN World Tourism Organisation, the largest rise globally.

　　31% more… than…：數(shù)據(jù)+more…than… 表示比…多多少

　　the largest rise globally: 這半句跟第一句的后半句是一樣的，rise 也是名詞用法。Globally全球地對應(yīng)the worldwide

　　With介詞短語，可以用來引導(dǎo)數(shù)字或者解釋說明。寫的時候注意介詞短語里面不能有動詞，只能夠用動名詞，growing by…

　　compared with: 與…相比

　　be up + 數(shù)據(jù)：表示上升，increase等詞后面要加介詞才能加數(shù)據(jù)。

　　5、 In July 2013 foreign visitors spent 30% more than in July 2012, setting a new record.

　　這個句子是一個比較級，并且后面是setting a record 這是動名詞進(jìn)行補充說明，創(chuàng)造了一個新紀(jì)錄。

　　這是一篇文章的標(biāo)題，其中creeping：緩慢的，遲緩的，可以替換平時我們使用的slow, gradual, slight, insignificant等詞語;

　　Ascent:名詞，上升，增長，注意這個詞的動詞是ascend(過去時ascended) 注意區(qū)別。

　　7、 There are at least 55,000 museums across the world, more than double the number 20 years ago.
