Unit 8 Died Fish死魚

Little Tim was in the garden filling in a hole when his neighbor peered over the fence.
小提姆在花園里用土填著洞，鄰居在柵欄外盯著他看。

Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was up to, he politely asked, “What are you up to there, Tim?”
鄰居很想知道這個(gè)厚臉皮的小孩在干嗎，便客氣地問(wèn)道：“你在那里忙什么呢？提姆？”

“My goldfish died,” replied Tim tearfully ,without looking up, “and I’ve just buried him.”
“我的金魚死了，提姆連頭都沒(méi)抬，”淚眼汪汪地回答：“我剛把它給埋了?！?/div>

The neighbor was concerned , “That’s an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn’t it?”
鄰居有點(diǎn)擔(dān)心地問(wèn)道：“埋一條金魚不需要挖那么大的洞，不是嗎？”

Tim patted down the last heap of earth then replied, “That’s because he’s inside your cat.”
提姆輕拍著最后填上的那堆土，回答道：“那是因?yàn)榻痿~在你那只貓的肚子里?！?/div>
