Flipped is a 2010 romantic comedy drama film. In 1957, when second-graders Bryce and Juli first meet, Juli knows it's love. But Bryce isn't so sure. For the next six years, they go to the same school and live across the street from each other.

When they start the sixth grade, Bryce hopes that he can get rid of Juli... But for Juli, when she and Bryce first met, she thought he was just shy and embarrassed; when he "held her hand", she thought she would get her first kiss from him in the second grade. Juli knew that she was flipped from then on.

In 1963, now in seventh grade, Bryce's grandfather Chet Duncan moves in with the family. He finds Juli different, special, and a rare kind of girl who's hard to come across. He continues to tell Bryce this with hope.

Bryce begins to develop feelings for her just as Juli begins to question her feelings about Bryce. Her feelings completely disappear when she overhears him and Garrett talking about her mentally challenged uncle, Daniel, in the library...

童年的Juli一直堅(jiān)信Bryce一定是整體大于部分的人。但隨著這個(gè)女孩的成長，她漸漸體悟到了親情、家庭、成就、情感等等，她的眼里不再只有Bryce，她的注意也開始轉(zhuǎn)移，她開始質(zhì)疑當(dāng)初自己的想法：Bryce真的是整體大于部分的人嗎，也許這只是當(dāng)初自己的希望，而現(xiàn)實(shí)的Bryce卻那么的缺少內(nèi)涵。

但是，就在Juli與Bryce漸行漸遠(yuǎn)的時(shí)候，Bryce突然對Juli產(chǎn)生了微妙的感覺，他為她家庭的溫馨氛圍所感染，他意識(shí)到Juli如此與眾不同：她如此熱愛生活、個(gè)性獨(dú)立，就連平日在他眼中被當(dāng)做愚蠢行為的爬樹、養(yǎng)雞等，也開始出現(xiàn)了不同的絢麗色彩。此時(shí)，Bryce才深深體會(huì)到了外公Chet的話：“有些人淺薄，有些人金玉其外敗絮其中，但總有一天，你會(huì)遇到個(gè)絢麗的人，她讓你覺得以前遇過的所有是浮云?！?/p>

當(dāng)你喜歡我的時(shí)候，我不喜歡你；當(dāng)你愛上我的時(shí)候，我喜歡上你；當(dāng)你離開我的時(shí)候，我卻愛上你；是你走得太快，還是我跟不上你的腳步？
