大城市 小世界

一個城市容納了來自世界的各色人等，那她不是一個大城市嗎？形形色色的人物聚集在這世界的一隅，那她不是一個小世界嗎？因為英語，我們所生活的這個世界縮小了。一系列親情、友情、愛情的溫馨故事，就在這其中上演?！洞蟪鞘行∈澜纭肥且幌盗袦剀暗墓适?，在會心地欣賞漫畫的同時，還會學(xué)到地道的英語口語表達法。

場景一

boy:hello! hello? Excuse me! Excuse me？
男孩：你好!你好？打擾一下！打擾一下？

girl:Just sit down anywhere. They don't have waiters in here!
女孩：隨便坐吧。這里沒有服務(wù)員的。

boy:OH, OK.
男孩：好的。

場景二

lady:Excuese me,is there anybody sitting here?
女士:打擾一下，請問這里有人坐嗎？

girl:I can't see anyone!
女孩：我誰都沒有看到！

lady:sorry?
女士：什么？

girl:Justjoking. Go ahead, sit down.
女孩：看玩笑啦。請坐吧。

lady:Thanks.
女士：謝謝。

場景三

girl:There are no waiters here. People usually just go up to the counter and order whatever they want.
女孩：這里沒有服務(wù)員。人們通常都是走到前臺點他們想吃的食物。

lady:Oh, well, I'm just supposed to be meeting someone here actually.
女士：哦，事實上，我是計劃來這里見朋友的。

girl:Not him, by any chance?
女孩：有沒有可能是他呢？

lday:Who?
女士：誰??？

場景四

girl:This guy here!
女孩：這個男孩！

boy:Hello!
男孩：你好！

lady:Oh, no!
女士：哦，不是他！

場景五

boy:No,I am waiting to meet someone, but not you! Where are you from, anyway?
男孩：不，我在等其他人，不是你。你來自哪里呢？

lady:Well, I live in London now. But I'm originally from Shanghai.
女士：我現(xiàn)在住在倫敦。但我是地道的上海人。

boy:Thought so! I'm from HK.
男孩：想得也是，我來自香港。

場景六

girl:Sorry to interrupt. But who are you both waiting for?
女孩：很抱歉打擾一下二位。你們都在等誰呢？

boy:I'm waiting for my friend Harry.
男孩：我在等我的朋友哈里。

lady:And I'm waiting for my friend Magda.
女士：我在等我的朋友馬格達。

girl:How interesting!
女孩：真是有趣！

場景七

boy:Erm, why's that interesting?
男孩：呃，為什么感到有趣呢？

girl:Because Harry and Magda are both friends of mine as well, and right now I'm waiting for both of them too. And here they are.
女孩：因為哈里和馬格達都是我的朋友，現(xiàn)在我也在等他們倆了?？?，他們來了。

friends:Hello!
朋友：大家好！

場景八

girl:Let's make this easier. I'm olivia!
女孩：讓我們隨意一些。我是奧利華。

boy:I'm Johnny. I'm a friend of……
男孩：我是卓尼。我是……的朋友。

Harry:Mine.He's a friend of mine. I'm Harry.
哈里：他是我的朋友，我是哈里。

lady:Ok, I'm Sarah. And I'm a friend of……
女士：好的，我是薩拉，我是……的朋友。

Magda:Mine! I'm Magda. Nice to meet you!
馬格達：她是我的朋友。我是馬格達，見到大家很高興。
