News anchor: Japan defeated the U.S. to win the women's World Cup. The Japanese team came from behind twice to send the game into a penalty shootout. Japan then outscored the U.S. women three to one in the shootout to win it. U.S. forward, Lauren Cheney, says in light of all the problems Japan has faced recently, the American team is happy for their opponent.

Cheney: ...That's off to Japan. They just, um, made their country extremely happy and brought a lot of joy to somewhere that they needed and that's the bigger picture.
