In almost all retail outlets in America, you may return the clothes you bought if you dislike them later or if they are defective. Typically, the store will give you 30 days to decide whether or not you would like to return the clothes. All you have to do is to keep the clothes in new condition and to keep your receipt. When you return clothes, retail stores typically hold one of three policies: Exchange: the store will allow you to exchange your returned defective item for an identical, good quality version. Store credit: you will not get money back for your clothes, but you will be able to buy anything in the store which is of equal or less value either on the day of your return or at a later date. Money back: you will get your money back the way it was paid. If you paid in cash, you will receive cash back; if you paid by credit card, credit will be put back on your card, etc.
在美國幾乎所有的零售商店里，如果你不喜歡你買的衣服或者衣服有質量問題，你都可以把它們退掉。舉個典型的例子，商店通常給你30天的時間決定是否退衣服。你所要做的就是把衣服保持得嶄新，并且保留好收據。當你想退衣服的時候，零售商店通常會堅持3個原則： 調換：商店將允許你退掉有質量問題的衣服，并調換一件一樣的質量好的衣服。 信用額度：你不能退回買衣服的貨款，但是你可以在退衣服當天或者幾天后，在商店里以等價或者低于原價購買任何東西。 退款：你能夠原價退還。如果你用現(xiàn)金支付，你將得到現(xiàn)金；如果你用信用卡支付，錢將返回你的信用卡，等等。
