B: Be careful with him. He is a lady-killer; he’ll chew you up like gum and then spit you out.

B: 當心。他可是個會勾引女人的人。他會像嚼口香糖一樣，先把你嚼一嚼，然后再把你吐出去。

A: It’s nice sitting here by the river, watching life amble past at its own pace.
B: And the college girls aren’t hard to look at either. I could stay here all day.

【語言點精講】

lady-killer: 用來形容很受女士歡迎的男士。這樣的男士通常有吸引人的外表，并別有吸引周圍女性的注意的魅力。
amble: 緩緩地進行。
pace: 速度。
not hard to look at: 指某人外表很漂亮。這是一個褒義的短語，但是贊美的語氣并不強。
