天宮一號(hào)（Tiangong-1）是中國第一個(gè)目標(biāo)飛行器，于2011年9月29日21時(shí)16分3秒在酒泉衛(wèi)星發(fā)射中心發(fā)射，飛行器全長10.4米，最大直徑3.35米，由實(shí)驗(yàn)艙和資源艙構(gòu)成。它的發(fā)射標(biāo)志著中國邁入中國航天“三步走”戰(zhàn)略的第二步第二階段。按照計(jì)劃，神舟八號(hào)、神州九號(hào)、神舟十號(hào)飛船將在兩年內(nèi)依次與天宮一號(hào)完成無人或有人交會(huì)對接任務(wù)，并建立中國首個(gè)空間實(shí)驗(yàn)室。

China's first space lab module Tiangong-1 completed its second orbital transfer Friday afternoon BJT with its apogee altitude rising from 200 kilometers to 362. The orbital maneuver was executed under the direction of the Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center as the module made its 13th circle around the Earth. The space lab finished its first orbital transfer on Friday as well. Control Center will now start orbital tests and payload tests which will last for about one week. Tiangong-1 will orbit the Earth for about one month awaiting the arrival of the Shenzhou-VIII unmanned spacecraft. Once the two vehicles are in orbit, they will conduct their first space docking.
