流行美語是一檔關(guān)于美國日常生活的常用語、短語的節(jié)目。節(jié)目內(nèi)容比較輕松，具有趣味性，講解一些常見的單詞，但是卻是一些我們不太了解的意思，穿插各種情景和人物對話，因而生動有趣。節(jié)目更新頻率為一天一期，每次大約為5分鐘，內(nèi)容比較簡單，適合初學(xué)者學(xué)習(xí)。音頻材料為中英雙語，只需要聽寫英文部分。

Remember last week in class, a girl asked who won World War II, the Germans or the Japanese? What a silly question, she's a real bimbo. Yeah, it's scary that an American did not even know who our first president was or who won World War II. But it's still not nice to call her bimbo, though. I know you wouldn't. Just want to warn you. To Chinatown? Two blocks away?You can walk there in 5 minutes, why do you want to take subway? You're such a bimbo. Sorry, bye.
M: Hey, Li Hua. What brings you here? L: 沒事。剛寫完明天要交的報告，想休息一下。哎，你在看電視劇Friends呀？我看過，我很喜歡Pheobe. 就是那個金發(fā)女孩，她真滑稽。 M: Yeah, she's a real dumb blonde.
