滬江英樂：英國創(chuàng)作歌手Ed sheeran推出了專輯的第四首單曲“Drunk”的混音版專輯，該首單曲之前在UK Top40排名第29位。在已經結束的全英音樂獎中，這位新晉人氣歌手獲得了4項提名，并最終獲兩項大獎,超越當紅歌手Adele，成為了獲獎提名最多的歌手。

2010年4月，Ed sheeran舉目無親來到了洛杉磯，一直在參加open mic nights。直到被Jamie Foxx發(fā)現(xiàn)并邀請他在接下來的日子里待在他家里錄音。整個2010，Sheeran都通過YouTube獲得了越來越多的矚目，歌迷數(shù)目激增，甚至得到了《獨立報》，英格蘭國家隊隊長里奧·費迪南德和Elton John的看好。

2011年2月，Sheeran發(fā)行了他的最后一張獨立EP No.5 Collaborations Project 。沒有任何宣傳，這張EP讓Sheeran得到了主流的關注，第一天就賣出了7000多張，并且在iTunes榜上登上了第一名的寶座。 　　

2011年4月12日，Ed在卡姆登市的Barfly酒吧舉行了一場答謝歌迷的免費演出。有1000多名歌迷來捧場，所以Ed Sheeran以四種不同的表演形式（甚至包括一場酒吧打烊后在街上的演出）來結束演出以確保每一位歌迷都能享受到這場演出。Sheeran低估了現(xiàn)場歌迷的人數(shù)以至最后被圍得水泄不通。
