老美動(dòng)不動(dòng)就想 bet 這個(gè)那個(gè)。I bet you Joy will be late.
回答法：
① You're on 來(lái)?。?/p>
② You're going down/Bring it on 你輸定了/放馬過(guò)來(lái)吧
③ Let's make this interesting 我們賭錢或別的（不要關(guān)說(shuō)說(shuō)), I bet you 500 she WON'T be late。老美就shut up了哈哈。

① Hand In（交進(jìn)去）： I have to hand in my homework today 我今天要交作業(yè)。
② Hand Over（交給）： Hand over your money 把錢交給我。
③ Hand Out（分發(fā)，發(fā)給）： I will hand out candy to my kids 我會(huì)分發(fā)糖給我的子女。
④ Handout（名詞，分發(fā)的文字資料）：Read the boss's handout.

口語(yǔ)有很多種說(shuō)法，你們常聽到：let you go （放你走）。
今天教大家另外一種說(shuō)法：“(Let You) Off the Hook”，比如：It’s okay, I’ll let you off the hook 沒(méi)事，饒了你。
Did you lose my keys? If I find them, you are off the hook 你弄丟我的鑰匙了嗎？找到的話就饒了你。

雪下到膝蓋也不穿，不過(guò)我媽那時(shí)候還逼我穿 “保暖褲”：”Thermal Underwear/Pants“ [ther?mal]。
弟弟, wear your thermal pants today 把你的保暖褲穿起來(lái)。
No thermal underwear for me, Mom 不穿！

這種說(shuō)法跟美語(yǔ)的 “付” 一樣，pay。 “Pay the Price”。
用法跟中文也一樣：
你會(huì)付出代價(jià)的 You will pay the price。
你總有一天會(huì)付出代價(jià)的 There will be a day when you pay the price。
我沒(méi)好好念書，現(xiàn)在就在付出代價(jià) I am paying the price for not studying before。?
