iPartment (Chinese: 愛情公寓; pinyin: Aìqíng Gōngyù), is a surreal sitcom from Mainland China. It was first produced and aired by Jiangxi TV in August 2009, with 20, hour-long episodes.

The second season moved into a different style approach and with episodes aired online, due to its online fan base and polls for upcoming episodes. The second season featured four of the same characters from the first season, with three news characters.

The i in the title is a reference to Ai, the Chinese term for "love".

提起《愛情公寓》，可謂無人不知無人不曉，但是提起iPartment，可能很多人就不知道了，其實(shí)后者就是前者的英文名字~~

The concept is loosely based on the American sitcom How I Met Your Mother (without the past tense), with factors borrowed from Friends, The Big Bang Theory, CSI and Slumdog Millionaire. The show details the lives of seven people in their mid-to-late 20's who are neighbors in an apartment building. Each person has a profession of their own and often get into unknown escapades.

Although much of the show is filmed on location, iPartment contains a laugh track. The series uses a cinematic-style approach with fast-paced editing and transitions, much like the British comedy series Spaced. There are also frequent references to more recent events and culture in China.

iPartment tends to combine genres such as drama, mystery, thriller, slapstick and surrealism. The second season leans more to a cinematic feel, with uses of CGI, camera effects and action scenes.

《愛情公寓》在前兩季中融合了《老爸老媽的浪漫史》、《老友記》、《生活大爆炸》等美劇橋段，并且與國(guó)內(nèi)的時(shí)事熱點(diǎn)巧妙結(jié)合，不可謂不笑料百出~~
