heart-warming

heart-warming的意思是暖心的，感人的，令人滿意的，例如：

還有什么場(chǎng)面能比殘酷戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)之后的家庭團(tuán)圓更暖人心房呢？

heart還可以參與構(gòu)成其他表示心理感受的詞語(yǔ)，如：

heart-struck; heartstriken; heartsick; heartsore; heartending; heartbreaking等表示“悲傷的”（程度深）

To observe thing around you in a cat's view, maybe the used captious boss and heart-struck lost love will be abandoned away from your life.

heartquake表示“震撼人心的”

sodden

sodden的原義是“全身濕透的，浸濕的”：

Rain saturated their clothes, leaving them sodden.
雨水滲透了他們的衣服使他們渾身濕漉漉的。

Brangwen went about at his work, heavy, his heart heavy as the sodden earth.
布蘭溫忙著干活，心情宛如浸濕的土地一樣沉重。

He lay back with his eyes shut, still sodden in the atmosphere of the dream.
他閉上眼睛躺著，仍浸沉在夢(mèng)境中的氣氛里。

“全身濕透”是種很狼狽的狀態(tài)，所以圖中的句子用這個(gè)詞來(lái)表示“悲傷的、凄苦的”。

sodden還可以表示“呆滯的、麻木的”：

He was soddened by the terrible news.
他被這可怕的消息驚呆了。
