DeMunn will guest-star on NBC's upcoming drama Chicago Fire, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Chicago Fire tells the story of the complex and heroic men and women of the Chicago Fire Department. DeMunn will portray a construction worker who gets caught in a traumatic situation and needs Severide (Taylor Kinney) to save him.

DeMunn is well-known for his roles on Dead, in which he played the ill-fated Dale. He'll also appear in Frank Darabont's new TNT crime drama L.A. Noir.
