Ke$ha本名Kesha Sebert ，出生于美國洛杉磯。因為母親的關(guān)系，Kesha Sebert從小是在鄉(xiāng)村長大的，她認為鄉(xiāng)村歌曲對她的最大影響是強調(diào)歌曲的故事性，每首歌都有著故事，而Ke$ha喜歡透過音樂說她的故事。
