These series of movies dedicated to the 18th CPC National Congress have rich themes, diverse content and plenty of emotion. Several of the titles include "The Tree in the Rain",?"The Next 11 Days", and "Go through Snow Mountains and Grassland."

Some of the movies depict harmonious scenes since China’s reform and opening up, some have characters that are model figures living an ordinary life, and many focus on China’s reality and history.

"Hushed Roar" is told from a post-80’s generation girl’s point of view. The girl tells the story of a fierce battle in Shanxi Province between the Chinese army and the Japanese invaders in 1938. Audiences say that the movie has the force to hit people’s heart.
