3月9日,被鄭益龍烈士救起的陳永標(biāo)攜妻在廣州跪謝鄭益龍烈士的妻子和父母。

解析:中文原文有這樣的表述:“把鄭益龍的父母當(dāng)成自己的父母,把鄭益龍的孩子當(dāng)成自己的孩子”。一般的學(xué)習(xí)者或譯者會(huì)選用“treat Zheng’s parents as his own parents and his child as his own child”,這樣的譯文是多么膚淺呀,沒有任何優(yōu)美之感,讀起來很沉悶。但是這里采用了整合中文信息,并經(jīng)深思熟慮,將整體信息集中表述:“?in the coming days, he would treat the beloved ones of Mr. Zheng as his own loved ones with good care and due consideration.?”

(2)”在珠江救人而失蹤的武警廣州支隊(duì)四大隊(duì)副教導(dǎo)員鄭益龍的遺體,終于被發(fā)現(xiàn)并打撈上岸 “。這個(gè)句子細(xì)節(jié)信息非常多,漢語表述簡單,可是英文表述就要注重句法和邏輯結(jié)構(gòu)的處理,不然英語譯文真的就是“翻譯來的”。?

the body? was finally located and hauled out of the Pearl River where Zheng tried hard to save a drowning man but was drowned himself.? 同時(shí)注意“drowning”和“drowned”在同一句中用法的對比效應(yīng)。

3月1日中午,汕頭人陳永標(biāo)在珠江西堤碼頭拍照不慎掉進(jìn)珠江,正好途經(jīng)此地的鄭益龍看到這一幕,立刻跳入江中抱住了溺水的陳永標(biāo)。

珠江水急,落水者又不斷掙扎,鄭益龍只能一手托起落水者,一手劃水,向岸邊靠攏,不久體力不支, 不幸被激流沖走并沉入江中。
