A man has quit his job at Stansted Airport by baking his colleagues a resignation cake.
一名英國男子為自己的同事烘培一個辭職蛋糕,通過這種方式辭去了他在斯坦斯特德機場的工作。

Chris Holmes, aka Mr Cake from Cambridgeshire, delivered the cake to "The Management" at the Border Force in Stansted on his birthday on 15 April.
克里斯-霍姆斯,現(xiàn)在同樣也是英國劍橋郡一位的蛋糕烘培師傅,在自己4月15日的生日當天將辭職蛋糕寄到了斯坦斯特德機場邊防部的管理處。

In his message, he tells how he has reassessed his life and decided to go forward full-time with his business venture as a professional cake baker.
他在信息中說道,他重新審視了自己的人生,之后決定作為一名全職職業(yè)蛋糕烘焙師來繼續(xù)他的事業(yè)。

The white iced cake reads: "Today is my 31st birthday, and having recently become a father I now realise how precious life is and how important it is to spend my time doing something that makes me, and other people, happy."

"For that reason I hereby give notice of my resignation, in order that I may devote my time and energy to my family, and to my cake business which has grown steadily over the past few years. "

Holmes' brother-in-law Stuart Jackson shared the picture of the resignation cake on Twitter, dubbing him "Jerry Maguire meets Masterchef".
