*grill 烤

*hearty bread應(yīng)該是一種說法吧，可以參考a hearty breakfast有營養(yǎng)的早餐
hearty這個詞還是比較常用的~
如a hearty laugh 發(fā)自內(nèi)心的大笑。。

*white bread 白面包
一只白面包呢？就是a loaf of white bread
一片面包 a slice of bread
是面包的一種啦 另外一種比較常說的是brown bread 一般是指全麥面包

*American cheese就是我們超市里面賣的那種一片一片切好的cheese

*tablespoon和teaspoon 國外的料理很常用的
注意縮寫是tbsp和tsp

*softened butter是指軟化的黃油，并不是說變成了油的那種狀態(tài)，而是用室溫來使它軟化，切起來，涂抹起來什么的會很方便

*non-stick frying pan
frying pan大家都認識啦
什么是non-stick 就是不-粘 很好記吧

*turn on medium heat 中火
其他火候：high heat
medium-high heat
medium-low heat
low heat

*flip就是我們所說的翻面
其實還有很多東西可以翻面的，比如說paper
flip the paper over and start writing on the back
還有一個常見用法就是flip a coin，就是往天上扔硬幣（來決定正反面）的動作了

*heat (sth) up
means to (make something) become warm or hot

*a cutting board 砧板（原來漢字是這樣寫的呀，我個文盲- -）
