We will be seeing on our television screens when the The Walking Dead spin-off bows on AMC sometime in 2015.

TWD creator Robert Kirkman, who will also executive produce the currently untitled spin-off, has made it clear that the companion show will have virtually no ties to the original show, other than the fact that they will both take place in the midst of the zombie apocalypse. Robert previously told Vulture, “I can say we’re not going to pull any characters from The Walking Dead, or the comics. It will be an all-new cast and an entirely new setting.”
《行尸走肉》制作人兼執(zhí)行制片人Robert Kirkman最近透露了部分關(guān)于該劇的細(xì)節(jié)，他表示這部衍生劇幾乎不會(huì)和原劇有任何關(guān)系，如果一定要說聯(lián)系的話，應(yīng)該就是兩部劇都是講述喪尸爆發(fā)時(shí)期的故事。Robert之前接受采訪時(shí)說，”我可以很肯定的說，我們不會(huì)使用《行尸走肉》的任何演員或者是漫畫原著的劇情。這將會(huì)是一部全新設(shè)定、全新演員班子的新劇。

But that doesn’t mean it won’t kick ass. In fact, Robert says the companion show could end up being better than TWD all together!
雖然和《行尸走肉》原劇關(guān)系不大，但這不會(huì)影響這部衍生劇成為一部好劇。事實(shí)上，Robert表示這部衍生劇會(huì)比《行尸走肉》好看得多！

“We’re all working behind the scenes right now to make sure it’s as awesome as it possibly can be,” he said back in October. “I think it may actually end up being more awesome than the original show.”
