The Dongguan Leopards were looking for a sixth straight win, as they hosted the Sichuan Blue Whales, Gu Quan gives Dongguan the lead early on.

Gu scored 20 on the night. His triple pushed the Leopards ahead by eight midway through the first quarter.

With the help of Donte Greene, the hosts extended the lead to over 20 points. Greene finished with 20 points, himself and 10 rebounds, Dongguan led by as many as 30 early in the third quarter.

Sichuan failed to find their way back, and Dongguan held on to thrash the newly promoted Blue Whales 106-92, and grab a sixth consecutive victory.

In other games on Sunday. Beijing edged Fujian 108-105 Randolph Morris had 36 points and seven rebounds for the Ducks. Tianjin outscored Shanghai. Foshan beat Ba-ee. Jilin thrashed Qingdao. Jiangsu dismantled Liaoning and James Singleton finished with 37 points and 11 rebounds, as Xin-jang topped Zhe-jiang, for their eighth win in a row.
