If you’re off to travel in the US -- might want to consider the next list: the top ten most dangerous cities in the US last year -- as reported by the Washington-based CQ Press.

The list was generated from FBI data and rated cities on six crime categories, including murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft.

The top 10 most dangerous cities, in descending order, are Camden, Flint, Detroit, Oakland, St. Louis, Cleveland, Gary, Newark, Bridgeport and Birmingham. In those cities, economic growth is hampered by safety problems, which need financial resources to be solved.
