3. Ross: Alright, alright, maybe it'll take my mind off it. Do you promise to buy me a big thumb finger? 這里的big thumb finger可能有些費(fèi)解，不過(guò)聯(lián)系上集中Phoebe喝汽水喝出7000美刀，就可明白了。整句意思是Ross最后同意去看曲棍球比賽，因?yàn)榭赡芸梢宰屗蝗ハ牒虲arol一起的事情，不過(guò)要chandler請(qǐng)喝汽水。

(to the kid) Listen, uh- gimme back my puck.Ross用重創(chuàng)換來(lái)的puck居然被小孩拿去了，還陣陣有詞的說(shuō)誰(shuí)揀到就歸誰(shuí)，Chandler慫恿他也來(lái)一段兒童謠，他鼓足勇氣說(shuō)了一半，終究還是捺不下面子?！癐’m rubber,you’re glue，whatever (you say bounces off me and stick to you)”在Friends中出現(xiàn)了好幾次，這里顯然也是小孩子們拌嘴皮子時(shí)候用的。意思是我是橡皮你是膠水，你說(shuō)的所有壞話都會(huì)反彈回去粘在你身上，引申過(guò)來(lái)也就是：你說(shuō)我壞話實(shí)際就是罵你自己。
