《一代宗師》是香港導演王家衛(wèi)的首部籌備期長達8年之久功夫電影，匯集了梁朝偉、章子怡、張震、趙本山、張晉、小沈陽、宋慧喬等兩岸三地、海內(nèi)外明星加盟，講述的是民國期間“南北武林”多個門派宗師級人物的由梁朝偉飾演的一代武學宗師“葉問”先生的傳奇一生。在影片籌備初期，王家衛(wèi)收集了大量民國時期的珍貴資料，三年內(nèi)走訪了全國各地百余位門派傳人，該片歷時“八年籌備，三年拍攝”，于2013年1月8日在中國內(nèi)地上映，10日在中國香港上映。該片為2013年第63屆柏林國際電影節(jié)開幕電影。

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Wong Kar Wai with a lead-time as long as eight years, THE GRANDMASTER is an epic action feature about the legendary life of the kung fu master, IP Man during the tumultuous Republican era that followed the fall of China’s last dynasty. THE GRANDMASTER features virtuoso performances by some of the greatest stars of contemporary Asian cinema, including Tony Leung, Ziyi Zhang, Benshan Zhao and Song Hye Kyo. During the lead-time, Wong Kar Wai gathered piles of precious materials if the Republican era and visited more than one hundred successors of different kung fu schools. After a lead-time of eight years and a shooting time of three years, THE GRANDMASTER hits the screen on January 8, 2013 in the mainland of China and January 8, 2013 in Hong Kong, China. It also wins the honor to be the opening film of the 63th Berlin International Film Festival in 2013.
